Why Alternate Teaching Methodology?
Today, the environment of education in educational institutions poses various challenges to young minds. They may feel neglected in large class groups, burdened by parental expectations, and race against ever-changing social demands and technological developments.
In such an environment, the success of a teacher particularly depends on the success of the students. Students are exposed to varied mediums in the present environment, thanks to the technological explosion, and thereby to retain their minds to the right inputs poses a challenge to teachers.
Hence, sharpening the skills of the teachers, especially in the area of alternate teaching modes becomes imperative for the teaching community.
It is equally important to keep the motivation levels of the teachers high to ensure that they are happy at work that will yield enhanced results to both the students as well as the institution.
Objective and Outcome
The uniquely designed Signature Programme Gear Your Success ATM aims at providing Alternate Teaching Methodology (ATM) inputs to the teaching community that would transform them from a teacher to a facilitator and enhance their content delivery efficiency while keeping them as well as the students motivated.
Certificates will be issued to the participants who successfully complete all the course requirements on time.

This course is ideally suited for school teachers and college faculty.
Mode of Delivery
Live Classroom Sessions
Alternate Teaching Methodology workshops are conducted on second Saturday and Sundays of every month as live classroom batches in Chennai.
Live Online Sessions
For the benefit of teachers outside Chennai city, ATM workshops are conducted as live online batches as well.
The live batches are conducted for an hour a day for 10 days.
Online participants are supported with social media platforms throughout the course.
Live On-campus/Outbound Sessions
Gear Your Success also facilitates exclusive batches to suit the needs of the institutions at their campus or at a location suggested by the institution as an outbound session.
An Exclusive Certification Process to suit the requirements of your institution is also available.
Facilitator
Gear Your Success program is facilitated by Dr N Balakumar Ph.D., who is an Experiential Learning and Alternate Teaching Methodology expert with over 25 years of experience including experience of managing Learning & Development function for very large corporates.
He has experience of handling varied Train the Trainer programs. With over 1000 sessions, he has been able to reach out to over 23,000 participants so far.
Dr Balakumar holds a Doctoral degree in Economics and has the ‘Managing the Training Function MDP Certification’ from XLRI and ‘Certification on Gamification’ from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
